When we opened the doors to Flow State in November 2023, we had a simple goal:

Create a place where riders could meet, connect, plan adventures, and indulge in a common passion.

What started as a licensed coffee bar, bike shop, and community hub has grown into something we never could have imagined...all thanks to you.

Over the past three years, we've watched our community grow. More riders. More bikes. More service appointments. More bike fittings. More conversations over coffee. More stories shared before and after rides.

And lately, we've run into a good problem:

We've run out of space.

So today, we're excited to announce the next chapter of Flow State.

Coming Soon: The Flow State Garage

Located directly across the street from the shop, The Flow State Garage will become a dedicated space focused on helping riders get more out of every ride.

While we're putting the finishing touches on the space, here's what you can expect:

More Service Capacity

One of our biggest challenges during peak riding season has been storage and service capacity. The new space will allow us to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and help more riders get back on the trails and roads faster.

Dedicated Bike Fitting Studio

We're excited to create a dedicated home for our growing bike fitting program. The Flow State Garage will provide a more focused environment where we can help riders improve comfort, performance, and efficiency on the bike.

Expanded Rental Fleet

We’ve been getting many requests for more rentals, and the new space will allow us to store and maintain a larger fleet of bikes while keeping our main shop less cluttered and more welcoming.

Workshops & Rider Education

The Garage will become home to mechanic workshops, educational sessions, rider clinics, and other opportunities during the off season to help you build skills and confidence both on and off the bike.

More Room at the Main Shop

By moving some operational activities into The Flow State Garage, we'll be able to free up valuable space inside our current location for additional seating, improved customer flow, and an even better coffee bar and community experience.

Why We're Doing This

The Flow State Garage isn't about becoming bigger for the sake of being bigger.

It's about intentionally creating a better experience for our community.

Whether you're coming in for a tune-up, a bike fit, a rental, a workshop, or simply an iced coffee half-way through your ride, this expansion allows us to serve you better while continuing to expand on our original vision.

Simply put, we're building The Flow State Garage to help elevate your riding experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Flow State Bike Co. Moving?

No. Our bike shop & coffee bar at 599 Arkell Road isn't going anywhere.

The Flow State Garage will operate as an extension of Flow State Bike Co. and is located directly across the street at 598 Arkell Rd.

Will Service Still Be Handled Through The Main Shop?

Yes. You'll continue to check in with our team at the main shop. We'll share more details as operational workflows evolve.

When Will The Garage Open?

We're currently preparing the space and hope to begin using mid-summer 2026.

We'll be sharing progress updates, behind-the-scenes photos, and sneak peeks over the coming weeks, so stay tuned via Instagram.

Will There Be Workshops and Events?

Absolutely. One of the things we're most excited about is having a dedicated space for workshops, rider education, maintenance clinics, bike fitting, and future community events.

Parking Information

Parking remains available at our main location. Additional parking for visitors to The Flow State Garage includes:

• 1 parking space directly in front of The Flow State Garage
• 8 parking spaces next to Arkell United Church along Watson Road

Please refer to the parking map below, and use the designated crosswalk at the intersection when travelling between the shop and the garage.
